Troy & Patti Hopkins - Owners
Troy and Patti moved to Lake Guntersville in 2019 and built a glamping resort called ReTreet. It became one of the most successful in the country. Now they're building The Farm at Baker Mountain—a luxury RV resort a mile down the road. But it's not just for travelers passing through. There's a restaurant, a speakeasy, a spa. Places where locals can come for dinner or drinks without ever booking a site. They moved here because they fell in love with this area. And they think more people should know about it. The way they see it, every visitor who discovers Lake Guntersville is another person who might come back, tell a friend, or decide to stay. Tourism creates jobs. It supports local businesses. It gives the community reasons to grow. The Farm is built for travelers, yes—but it's also built for the people who already live here. A place to celebrate something. A night out that doesn't require a two-hour drive. Something new that belongs to this corner of Alabama. They are proud parents of three daughters. Troy runs several businesses, and Patti, a retired nurse, enjoys working alongside him as they build and manage their ventures together. They believe Lake Guntersville deserves more visitors, more attention, more reasons for people to discover it. The Farm is their way of making that happen—for the travelers who find it, and for the neighbors who've been here all along.
